Seller Privacy Policy

Overview

PosixNinja ("we," "us," or "our") lets collectors submit cards for cash offers or to fulfill buyer wants. This Privacy Policy applies when you scan cards, stage submissions, or sell to us—not when you only purchase from our inventory (see our buyer privacy policy).

Information we collect

Account information: You sign in with an email address and password (stored as a secure hash).

Card photos and scan data: When you use the Sell flow, we process images you upload or capture to identify cards, estimate condition, and generate offers. Photos may be retained with your submission until the shop completes review.

Submission records: We store card identity, offered price, submission status, and any notes you or the shop add during review.

Payout information: If we pay you for accepted cards, we may collect payment details you provide (for example PayPal, Venmo, or check mailing address) as configured by the shop.

Technical information: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use your information

We use seller information to price submissions, communicate offers and counter-offers, pay you for accepted cards, prevent fraud, and improve our identification tools.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

AI and identification

Card photos may be analyzed by automated vision and language models to suggest card name, set, number, and condition. A human at the shop reviews submissions before final acceptance.

How long we keep information

We retain submission photos and records for as long as needed to complete review, process payment, resolve disputes, and meet accounting or legal requirements.

Your choices

You may contact us at joshua@posix.ninja to request access, correction, or deletion of seller-related data, subject to open submissions and legal retention limits.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
